Conduct

Members and Guests
Members and their guests shall conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to a Country Club setting. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

If a member or guest's conduct is considered offensive by another member or employee of Kings Creek Country Club, a complaint should be made to the General Manager, a member of management, or a written complaint can be directed to the Grievance Committee (as outlined in the Bylaws).

Children
Members are responsible for the conduct and safety of their children and guests’ children.  Children under 12 must be always supervised by an adult while at the Club. Supervision means the adult must be in the children’s immediate presence and under their control.

Children are not allowed to run, loiter, romp, or play in the Clubhouse areas. Members are asked to keep their children seated and well behaved at all times. This will allow servers to perform their job freely and safely, and other members’ enjoyment is not compromised.

Children under 16 years of age and of appropriate gender are permitted in the locker rooms to use the bathroom or to change clothes.

As required by Delaware alcohol laws, no one under 21 is allowed to sit, stand, or remain at the bar or service counter. If alcohol is served across it, it is considered a bar or service counter. Minors may not pay a bill, get change, or obtain a soda, water, snacks or food across the bar or service counter.

Be considerate to others behind you on the golf course and practice good etiquette such as:

  • Rake your bunkers.

  • Fix all ball marks that you see on the green.

  • Replace your divot or fill in with sand/seed.

  • Please use the restrooms facilities provided on the golf course.

  • Play each 9-holes in 2 hours or less.

  • Be considerate when interacting with other members.

  • Tee off on the first tee no later than scheduled tee time.

Practicing good golf course etiquette should not be considered optional, as it is integral to your experience as a member at Kings Creek. By adhering to the above points, you help to ensure that everyone’s experience is a positive one each time they visit the Club.
